A drawing of a beloved person is precious.
This is a gift for my mother on the Mother's Day. I started working on it Friday night while I was on a fever, so it's a quick drawing but I worked really hard. It is drawn with pencils crayon, pastels, charcoal, HB pencil and Qin's magic fingerXD... Due to the size of the drawing(11*15), I'm still looking for an art envelope as a protection and going to frame the drawing before I get back to my mom this summer(She's in China).

i went through your whole blog chaoying, im so impressed! ahhh these are all so amazing... my favourite is this one, the green field you painted for your dad and the woman on the water lily. they are so beautiful, never stop painting!

Matthew! I'm glad you like them:). Yes, I won't stop painting even if my wrinkled hands was shaking too much, unable to hold a brush... XD

1. All our relatives said that the drawing looked quite like my mom, some said extremely alike.
2. It is rated 98% based on likeness by my dad;
3. 80% by my mom herself:D, not bad.
