ChaoYing
My name was my first birthday present in this world
 given by my parents.


ChaoYing means innovative and creative.
Back then, my engineer dad and my mom, who studied pharmacology in college,  never expected that one day their daughter would become a "creator" who embodies her name through making art.



I am a girl who is ADDICTED to art, 
18 years old, 
born in Hefei, China, 
living in Toronto,
in my senior year of high school. 
 .
  

MY PASSIONS:

Art is the biggest obsession in my life. I have been learning art and making stuff since I was little. The media I now use include acrylic, watercolour, pencils, pencil crayons, pastels, and digital devices (i.e. graphic tablet, photoshop and photography).

Besides visual art, I am a fan of classical music; I play the piano; I love physics;  I love STARS and universe; I travel and I adore various styles of architectures from different cultures. I am a volunteer for Best Buddies Canada; I am part of the Environmental Council in my high school; I spent a lot of weekends helping out in the hospital and my church.

MY DREAMS:

I am graduating from high school but still not exactly sure about my career path. I am going into science/applied-science field, and I want to boarden my horizons as much as I can through continueing learning about art and music. 
I have a dream which is to found my own charity in support of environmental causes and of children with disabilities.
